About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on fleet vehicles, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with fleet vehicles, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Work with the fleet manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance or a related field.
- ASE certifications in medium/heavy duty trucks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
- Work in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to loud noises and moving equipment.
- Occasional travel to other locations may be required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
