Software Engineer — Data Platform

About the Role:
Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated R&D software engineer to participate in the design and development of medical device software.
The successful candidate will work in teams of diverse and high-performing employees, tackling some of the most important health industry challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, debug, modify, and test software applications using C#/C++ and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Methodologies.
- Document software development by writing documents, reports, memos, and change requests.
- Track software development effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved software version control system.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years of relevant work experience with BS in CSCI or related field.
- 0-2 Years of relevant work experience with MS or PhD in CSCI or related field.
- Experience in Object-Oriented Programming and Windows Application Development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing in C# and developing WPF Applications.
- Experience with developing software within the medical device industry.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
