Job Summary:

The Associate Director of Student Involvement provides leadership and direction for the Department of Student Involvement (DSI) at the University of Idaho. This role oversees the creation of campus programs, including recruitment, training, and management of the Vandal Entertainment Student Board (VE), as well as marketing efforts, website, and social media outreach for the department and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and direction for the Department of Student Involvement (DSI)
- Oversee the creation of campus programs, including recruitment, training, and management of the Vandal Entertainment Student Board (VE)
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for the department and programs
- Supervise 2-3 full-time professionals in Sustainability, Leadership, and Food Pantry Programs, Student Media, Student Clubs, and Esports

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communication, Marketing, or related field
- Three years working in higher education
- One year performing supervisory duties
- Planning and implementing small and large events on a college campus
- Managing multiple projects while adhering to deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in higher education advising
- Five years professional experience effectively interacting with students, faculty, and administrators in a college or university setting
- Experience in advising or supervising college students; educational and learning processes, group dynamics, and student development theory
