Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Manager at Postalloy® by Postle Industries, Inc. is responsible for overseeing all plant operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to health and safety procedures. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to motivate staff, complete production plans, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Motivation: Motivate and direct manufacturing staff to achieve production goals, ensuring a high level of job satisfaction and productivity.
  • Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and priorities to meet business objectives, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Enforce organization manufacturing standards, analyze production and quality control data to detect and correct problems, and maintain a high level of quality in all products.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and educate and direct personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources.
  • Financial Management: Analyze production costs, manage budgets, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Business Acumen: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and make informed decisions to drive business growth and success.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary degree preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to motivate and direct staff; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software; valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
