Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Policy and Planning Expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to make a meaningful impact in the field of transportation planning.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a diverse team of planners, engineers, and data scientists. You will also be responsible for all aspects of task management, including development of staffing plans, adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and ongoing quality control and quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities

  • To assess and interpret technical assessment in areas such as travel demand modeling, interchange analysis, and corridor studies.
  • To guide transportation policy research and analysis efforts and develop context-appropriate policy guidance for clients.
  • To oversee the development of technical reports, presentations, and other written deliverables for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • To support business development pursuits for transportation planning opportunities in the Midwest region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning, or related discipline.
  • AICP, PTP, PE, CEP, or approved certification in a related field.
  • 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years of experience with a Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH THE EVALUATION AND INTERPRETATION OF REGIONAL TRAVEL DEMAND MODELING OUTPUTS.
  • BACKGROUND IN TRANSPORTATION ECONOMICS.
  • EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSPORTATION POLICY AND FUNDING.

Work Environment

This position requires a strong understanding of transportation planning principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

$95,000 - $120,000 per year.
