Job Title: Data Architect Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Community Behavioral Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing the data architecture within our IT division.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies and frameworks for our data systems.
* Lead the design and implementation of modern data architectures, supporting transactional, operational, and analytical needs.
* Collaborate with Data Analytics, Business Analysts, IT teams, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to define data requirements, design solutions, and implement data strategies that align with our business and technology objectives.
* Establish data governance policies and practices, including data security, quality, and lifecycle management.
* Provide technical guidance and support for data-related projects, including data migrations, system upgrades, and new implementations.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
* IT professional with at least 5 years of progressively responsible management experience in a technical environment.
* Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
* Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, such as HL7, FHIR, and ICD-10.
* Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data integration tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
* Proficiency in database design, SQL, and data analysis tools.
* Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools.
* Ability to think strategically.
* Highly organized and efficient.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to delegate tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills and ability to multi-task.
* Compliant with HIPAA regulations.

Work Environment:

* Must be able to travel within Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
* Regularly requires walking, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling and/or repetitive wrist/hand movements for various lengths of time throughout the day.
* Ability to utilize computers and office equipment to complete daily work responsibilities.
* Regularly works inside in areas that are adequately lighted and ventilated. Some fluctuation in temperature. No protective equipment routinely needed.
* Must be able to adapt to continuous changes/demands of the job.

Philadelphia Residency Requirement:

* The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia resident or become a resident within six months of hire.
