Certified Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Certified Fabricator to join our team in Ingleside, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and repairing large structures and platforms using various welding techniques.

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine layout and procedure requirements
• Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on project specifications
• Set up components of welding according to specifications
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding
• Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Verify work for flaws and maintain equipment in safe condition

• 6GR welding certification
• Experience with Fluxcore and other welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing and PPE
• Ability to measure and cut materials
• Pass 6GR test
• Will to work in heights and confined spaces

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
