Job Summary:
At Froedtert Health, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will prepare patients, perform imaging procedures, and operate imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers. You will adhere to organizational customer service standards and support the organizational excellence initiatives. Your positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff will be essential in providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and operate imaging equipment.
- Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
- Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support the organizational excellence initiatives.
- Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary.
Requirements:
- Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
- An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.
- ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.
- Registered by the ARRT in CT within 18 months is required.
