About the Opportunity

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to lead our infrastructure project team. As a key member of our design team, you will work on various projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients.

We offer a collaborative environment where innovative designs are developed for new facilities, expansions, upgrades, and retrofits. Your expertise in civil site/infrastructure engineering will be utilized to provide support and lead the design effort on small to large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop cost-effective designs for construction projects.
  • Lead the civil discipline portions of business development activities, including developing scope and level of effort estimates.
  • Work effectively with local and remote design teams to meet project schedule and quality goals.
  • Conduct field work, such as site investigations, as necessary for various projects.
  • Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in municipal and/or industrial civil design, including water and wastewater pipelines and site work.
  • Professional Engineering license required, plus ability to obtain license in additional states as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to use standard computer programs, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
