The estimated annual salary for this position typically ranges from $70,000 to $106,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This compensation range reflects the demands and responsibilities associated with this role.

Job Description

This challenging opportunity requires an experienced Architect I to lead architectural work throughout various stages of projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designating tasks to team members and managing workloads effectively.
  • Participating in client meetings throughout all phases of design and construction.
  • Conducting design and contract document work sessions with other disciplines and practice teams.
  • Writing/editing architectural specifications using independent analyses and design knowledge.

In addition to these duties, the successful candidate will be responsible for researching codes, guidelines, and regulations governing best design practices, coordinating and submitting multi-disciplinary documents for authorities having jurisdiction approval, and participating in construction administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A professional degree in architecture and at least four years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional licensure.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other 3D visualization tools.
  • Comprehension of governing codes, standards, and project planning processes.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
