Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg team at Paulding Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and implement individualized plans of care using evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts and departments.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of protocols and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Act as a preceptor and mentor to new staff members and students, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance the profession of nursing.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • At least one year of direct patient care experience in a MedSurg setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
