Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $29.98 to $43.10 per hour, with an estimated annual salary of approximately $62,120 to $89,520 based on a 40-hour workweek. Job Description

This Imaging Diagnostic Specialist role is a key part of our diagnostic imaging team. As a CT Technologist II, you will be responsible for conducting complex procedures and tests using Computed Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. You will work collaboratively with various teams, including Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiology, to obtain necessary imaging for advanced diagnoses and treatment options.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts complex procedures and tests using CT equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
  • Assists radiologists in performing high-risk invasive diagnostic techniques, such as needle biopsies and CT-guided joint injections.
  • Evaluates contra-indications and notifies care teams prior to the patient's arrival.
  • Performs CTA perfusion, Code IA/Stroke/Bat, Red Trauma Series, Yellow Trauma Series, ROSC, and Portable CT procedures.
  • Recognizes diagnostic characteristics of normal and abnormal scans, anatomy, and questionable findings, alerting radiologists for escalation of and/or additional care.
  • Demonstrates ability to manipulate parameters for CT Gated Watchman and Cardiac exams.
  • Analyzes scan data throughout the examination to ensure a comprehensive exam is completed and sufficient data is provided to physicians.
  • Triages care for general anesthesia (adult/pediatric) exams and provides education for care teams.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science with an advanced registry in Computed Tomography. Additionally, you must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible, require advanced certification in CT, and maintain your registry status and continuing education requirements annually. Three years of experience as a CT Technologist are also required.
