Making Opportunity Count Inc is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our dynamic childcare program. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational and developmental experiences of our young students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that fosters children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a seamless transition between home and school
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education, incorporating new ideas and strategies into your teaching approach
Requirements:
- AA Degree in Early Education or related field with 6 ECE classes
- EEC Lead Teacher certificate
- Exhibit cultural sensitivity and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Bi-lingual a plus
