Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to join our long-term care team at our facility in Western Colorado. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Implement specific procedures and programs as directed by nursing staff.
  • Coordinate work within the department and with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Report pertinent information to immediate supervisors and document resident interactions as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information from residents, family members, and visitors.
  • Assist immediate supervisors and nurses with tasks to support department operations.

Requirements

  • Must have an active valid license as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Colorado.
  • Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years of practical experience in a CNA position preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.50 - $26.57 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, eligible employees may receive a bonus, and compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

About the Location

Grand River Health proudly serves residents of Western Colorado and beyond. We are a not-for-profit Special Tax District, formed by the citizens of Western Garfield County in 1961 to serve the area's health care needs. Our main hospital campus is located in the picturesque Rifle, Colorado, with twenty-five beds providing a wide range of services, along with a long-term care center and a satellite campus.
