Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Captain to join our team at College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving. As a Truck Captain, you will be responsible for safely operating our junk trucks, providing exceptional customer service, and leading our team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Junk Trucks Safely: Ensure the safe operation of our junk trucks, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring 110% satisfaction with every interaction.
  • Lead the Team: Lead by example, demonstrating our core values of H.U.N.K.S. (Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable, Service-oriented) and guiding your team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Price Jobs Aggressively: Meet and surpass benchmarks, ensuring profitable jobs and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Make Logistical Decisions: Make informed decisions regarding job logistics, including disposal, equipment usage, and marketing strategies.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Assist in training new hires, ensuring they understand our core values and day-to-day operations.
  • Complete Daily Checklists: Ensure all daily tasks are completed, including truck inspections, safety checks, and administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Required.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required.
  • Basic Math Skills: Required.
