Job Summary

MaineHealth Primary Care, Internal Medicine is seeking an experienced full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care at our office-based practice located in Farmington, Maine.

The successful candidate will join our dynamic team, including four physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers, working together with outstanding support staff. The Advance Practice Provider will be responsible for providing primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients in a team care approach.

Our team provides office-based primary care medicine services and preventive and diagnostic cardiovascular services, serving a population of approximately 40,000. The local medical community offers excellent collegial interaction and referral relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Three years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred.
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • DOT Certification required within 6 months of employment.
