Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and driven sales professional to join our team at Geico - Shreveport. As an in-office sales representative, you will work closely with a dynamic team to achieve business production goals and objectives.


Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 + commission + bonus opportunities. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive paid time off (PTO), health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan.


Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established by the company.
  • Solicit new business opportunities via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and treat each contact as a cross-sell opportunity including financial products.

Requirements
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency and work well with other employees as a team player.
  • Currently possess or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license.
