Join our team as an Eviction Mediator - Community Engagement Specialist and play a vital role in resolving conflicts between landlords and tenants in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing mediation services, developing relationships with community partners, and identifying resources to support individuals facing eviction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mediation services to resolve conflicts between landlords and tenants
- Develop relationships with community partners to identify resources and support individuals facing eviction
- Conduct mediations at the small claims court in both the High Point and Greensboro Courthouses
- Connect parties with community resources to support housing stability
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field, such as housing policy, social work, or conflict resolution
- 2+ years of experience in mediation, conflict resolution, or a related field
- Knowledge of housing laws and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
