About The Role

As a Certified Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring that all nursing procedures and protocols are followed in accordance with established policies.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education and support to customers and their families, and promote a positive and respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to customers, including administering medications, performing routine charting duties, and completing assessments upon admission, transfer, or discharge
  • Supervise and instruct nursing assistants on various topics to promote job knowledge and ensure compliance with established departmental policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating customer needs, goals, and preferences
  • Counsel and discipline nursing personnel as necessary, and participate in ongoing education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and services, including arranging for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by physicians
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within two weeks of employment
  • Demonstrated interest and/or knowledge in care of the aged, with the ability to relate to and work with diverse populations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
