Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the finance and accounting process, including month-end close, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, tax reporting, and payroll management.
• Provide strategic and operational decision-making support to the business unit leader and leadership team.
• Assess, integrate, and manage acquisitions.
• Oversee the management of the finance staff.
• Assist with special assignments and prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• 4-year degree in accounting or business.
• QuickBooks and accounting software experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with divisional and corporate functions and outside vendors.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Five years or more of relevant experience.
• Public accounting and/or construction experience.
• Experience with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (Timberline) software.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
