Job Description

As a CT Technologist at the Cleveland Clinic, you'll be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You'll work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and administering contrast materials as needed.
  • Operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images, ensuring optimal image quality and minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Collaborating with radiologists to interpret scan results and provide diagnostic recommendations.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a CT Technologist at the Cleveland Clinic, you'll need:

  • A degree from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
