About the Role

We are seeking skilled LPNs to join our team as Bedside Care Specialists in our Developmental Brain Injury Services (DBIS) program. As a key member of our nursing team, you will advocate for and provide high-quality care to our clients with developmental disabilities and brain injuries.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate healthcare services for participants and communicate effectively with medical professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other licensed providers.
  • Document all nursing interventions, changes, and interactions in designated areas, ensuring accurate and timely communication among staff members.
  • Maintain up-to-date medication and treatment orders, adhering to MAP standards, and reporting any side effects or adverse reactions to relevant personnel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to train staff on personal care, positioning, feeding, and the use of supportive devices.
  • Support individuals with their personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and community integration while respecting individual autonomy.
  • Accompany patients to medical appointments and Day Programs, fostering strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Participate in additional assignments and tasks as directed by management, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED is mandatory; a College Degree/Certificate is preferred but not required.
  • Hold a valid Massachusetts Nursing License and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Demonstrate physical ability to perform the requirements of the position, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
  • Show excellent communication and computer skills, facilitating collaboration and efficient workflow.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Enjoy a competitive salary range of $68,640-$79,040, based on experience and education.
