Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for utilizing diagnostic imaging equipment to produce accurate images for medical interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
- Position patients and adjust imaging equipment to ensure accurate results
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required
- BLS certification
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Travel Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel to various locations
