Job DescriptionThis Physician Assistant role will co-manage hepatology, liver transplant, and live donor liver patients in a teaching facility. Under the direction of an attending physician, the Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing preoperative, postoperative, and medical care in the outpatient setting. This includes formulating and implementing diagnosis and treatment plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies, consulting with specialists, prescribing medications, and educating patients and families.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must possess advanced practice experience, preferably three years or more. You should also have strong communication skills, be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize quality and caring above all else.
