Job Overview

Digilock, a pioneer in personal security solutions, seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to provide top-notch support to our internal users. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in IT support and a proven track record of successfully migrating or implementing new systems or networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for internal users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • System Administration: Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including Windows and Mac devices.
  • Network Management: Collaborate with senior management to lead system upgrades, network deployments, new software rollouts, and system migrations, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • ERP Optimization: Work within our ERP system to optimize functionality, improving overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with senior management and other departments to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Ticketing System: Document all troubleshooting steps, procedures, and solutions in a ticketing system, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • System Performance: Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability, and providing regular reports to senior management.
  • User Training: Provide training and guidance to end-users on various IT-related topics, including software applications and best practices.
  • Compliance: Assist with IT compliance activities, ensuring that all company policies and regulations are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in IT support, with a focus on technical troubleshooting and system administration.
  • Migrating/Implementing Systems: Proven experience in migrating or implementing new systems or networks, with a strong understanding of network protocols and architectures.
  • ERP Systems: Experience working with ERP systems, with a focus on optimization and integration.
  • Operating Systems: Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as networking components.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in IT support and system administration.
