We are Ridgeview, a nonprofit community mental health organization dedicated to delivering Hope, Healing, and Recovery to clients in 6 rural East Tennessee counties.

Job Description

This position is for a skilled therapist who will be embedded in Morgan or Scott County Schools as part of our expanded School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison program. The ideal candidate will deliver direct therapy to students and coach staff on engaging students with behavioral health needs.

The Role:

  • Deliver face-to-face consultation with classroom teachers to create positive, trauma-informed classroom environments
  • Provide psycho-educational groups and other support as needed to youth identified by teachers and/or school officials
  • Liaise between the family and the school, and assist parents and youth with the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
  • Experience with children and/or adolescents, especially in a social work or therapy/counseling capacity

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
