**About the Role**

We are seeking a seasoned IT Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Arkansas Department of Human Services. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and tracking multiple complex projects using advanced concepts and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the information technology activities of a professional, technical, and administrative support staff.
  • Implements schedules and priorities for project development and monitors development stages to ensure the validity of data and reports and adherence to deadlines.
  • Completes project management activities for all phases of the project life cycle, including but not limited to initiation, planning, execution, control, and closeout.
  • Defines and facilities project scope/objectives and interfaces with all areas affected by the project.
  • Acts as the project management liaison between the agency and other stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, data processing, or a related field; plus five years of experience in project management engineering, systems administration, or a related field, including three years in a supervisory capacity.
