Job Title: Director of Climate Hub

Colorado State University is seeking a highly qualified Director to lead the Climate Hub at the CSU Spur Campus in Denver. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to address climate change in Colorado and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine the Climate Hub's initial offerings in collaboration with the CSU Climate Initiative and the Hub's advisory committee.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a 5-year strategic plan to address the needs of public, private, and philanthropic partners with tailored climate information and programming.
  • Design and oversee the creation of diverse climate-related programs leveraging CSU's extensive expertise.
  • Integrate faculty, staff, and students from various CSU colleges, departments, and climate-related centers into Climate Hub activities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages cross-disciplinary teamwork and innovation.
Requirements:
  • PhD and at least 2 years of relevant work experience; or, Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 5 years of public and/or private sector experience related to climate change.
  • 2 years of team management experience.
  • Proven experience in fundraising and donor relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong cross-functional and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple programs and workstreams.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate progress toward strategic goals.
  • Established network of relevant public and private contacts within Colorado and beyond.
