Job Overview

The Boyd Group is seeking a highly skilled Auto Body Restoration Specialist to join our team at Gerber Collision & Glass.


About the Role

This role requires an individual with expertise in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles to restore them to their pre-accident condition. As an Auto Body Restoration Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining high-quality repair standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Repair Vehicles: Thoroughly inspect and repair vehicle damage, ensuring that each unit meets our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Team Members: Collaborate with other technicians and staff members to meet repair facility KPIs and ensure seamless communication throughout the repair process.
  • Perform Technical Tasks: Use advanced technical skills to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts, including welding, painting, and detailing.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, understanding their needs and concerns while delivering exceptional service and support throughout the repair process.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment with many odors present.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.

Compensation Details

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000-$100,000+ annually, depending on experience.
