Pizza Delivery Associate

As a Pizza Delivery Associate at Donatos Pizza, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders in a timely and friendly manner. Your responsibilities will include safely operating a motor vehicle, checking out and delivering orders, and performing other in-store functions such as folding boxes or other cross-functional Associate level duties. You will also be responsible for ensuring the shift is ready for revenue by completing food prep, stocking, and pre-topping pizzas, as well as setting the next shift up for success by completing food prep, stocking prep-tables, and freezer pulls. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning and mopping lobby, restrooms, and kitchen as needed, and effectively communicating with customers, co-workers, and managers in person or over the telephone.

Requirements:

• You must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and valid automobile insurance. You must maintain a driving record that meets company minimum requirements to remain in position.
• Previous Driver and/or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• You must be able to perform the essential functions of this position safely while meeting productivity standards.
• You must be able to lift up to 20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• You will occasionally be required to bend and twist.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver orders to customers in a timely and friendly manner.

• Ensure the shift is ready for revenue by completing food prep, stocking, and pre-topping pizzas.
• Set the next shift up for success by completing food prep, stocking prep-tables, and freezer pulls.
• Clean and mop lobby, restrooms, and kitchen as needed.
• Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and managers in person or over the telephone.
• Take customer orders over the phone.
• Accurately handle cash and give customers correct change.
• Follow all food safety guidelines, including handwashing, illness reporting, and cleanliness.
• Follow detailed food recipes while completing subs, pizzas, and salads for customers.
