Early Intervention Specialist

Ocean Psychological Services Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team of experts in the field of early intervention.

The Role:

As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in teaching young children essential skills to support their development. You will work closely with families to address each consumer's developmental needs, delivering treatment utilizing principles of trauma-informed care and related early intervention practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver treatment to individuals with developmental difficulties and/or disabilities
  • Address age-appropriate domains, including cognitive, motor, communication, and social skill areas
  • Provide services in the consumer's home with a provider/staff to consumer ratio of 1:1

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, and willing to drive between Sunnyvale and San Jose, CA
  • Associate degree required in psychology, child development, special education or related field
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in ABA or equivalent (e.g., special education, child development, etc.) with formal documented training
  • Must have reliable transportation with clean driving record and insurance
  • Must be available to provide 20 direct (client) hours per week (M-F, with Saturday hours a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Open schedule of availability
  • Bilingual
