Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal ICU/NICU department. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling with 24 hours of work per week, including nights and weekends.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process, assessing patients, planning their care, intervening as necessary, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures into patient care, ensuring a safe environment for all patients.
  • Maintain continuity of patient care across shifts, hospitals, and during out-of-hospital transfers.
Requirements
  • An associate degree from an accredited nursing program or nursing diploma is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required.
  • One year or more of Neonatal ICU/NICU Level III RN experience is strongly preferred.
  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification is required prior to providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification within 90 days is required, while NRPA (Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification within 90 days is also required.
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention Training) certification must be maintained annually.
