Senior Aircraft Component Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Component Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced technical tasks, including repair and overhaul of aircraft components, using advanced skills, procedures, and techniques.
- Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional and operational tests of aircraft components.
- Inspect detail parts to ensure conformity requirements are met.
- Remove skins and related components on flight controls and secondary structure components.
- Maintain and utilize all required paperwork in accordance with FAA Repair Station requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a related field, such as sheetmetal and/or hydraulic overhaul, avionics/electronic component repair, or accredited schooling in electronics and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in operation of all tools and equipment in the department.
- Basic understanding of shop math.
