About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team in designing and developing cutting-edge networking hardware for our cloud-enhanced routers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing hardware for our 8000 series routers, delivering high-quality and power-efficient solutions using advanced SerDes technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop hardware for our 8000 series routers, ensuring high-quality and power-efficient solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ASIC teams, manufacturing, software, and product marketing, to ensure successful product development
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including hardware specs and test plans
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues in the lab using analyzers and scopes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant degree and 7+ years of experience in system level development, preferably in the server/computer/network industry
  • Expertise in Ethernet, high-speed SerDes (>10G) interfaces, high-speed design, and signal integrity
  • Experience with control interfaces such as PCIe, MDIO, SPI, I2C
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to influence both technologists and business representatives
