Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Saint Anthony Hospital. The successful candidate will provide safe and effective dialysis treatments in a chronic outpatient dialysis setting under the direct supervision of a licensed registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dialysis treatments to patients in compliance with policies and procedures, guidelines and regulations of Saint Anthony Hospital, State of Illinois, and other federal agencies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest dialysis techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Hemodialysis Technologist (CHT) credential from the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology (BONENT).
- Current CPR certification.
- Must maintain all applicable State of Illinois licensure requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year dialysis experience preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant, CNA, or Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment.
