This role involves implementing scalable testing pipelines for Autonomous Vehicle (AV) behavior development and validation. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering precise and reliable testing products built on industry-leading AV simulation frameworks.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to ensure our simulation testing provides clear signals on AV behavior. This includes:
- Coordinating cross-functional expansion testing activities
- Leading the design and implementation of automated testing pipelines
- Collaborating with partner teams to extract and interpret testing signals
- Communicating progress and results clearly with leadership
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of coding experience in Python and/or C++
- 4+ years of experience in test framework development, scale simulation test creation, and management
- Familiarity with column-oriented databases and dashboarding systems
- Effective collaboration skills and experience working with diverse audiences
- Strong communication skills and passion for safe, fully-electric, self-driving technology
