Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, performing technical skills, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Perform various technical skills, including vital sign measurements, blood pressure checks, and EKG tracing
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control protocols and national patient safety goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, restocking supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with licensed staff to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current CNA or Maryland Board of Nursing license required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Nursing student with satisfactory completion of one clinical course; or unlicensed healthcare professional
Benefits and Compensation
