Planate Management Group is a leading provider of program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in designing and managing the architect and engineering (A&E) and construction activities of the USAID recent Health Reform and Recovery Activity to restore health services and reconnect people to care in Ukraine.

The successful candidate will lead the efforts to rebuild critical infrastructure and oversee the project from initiation to completion while ensuring it is done in a timely manner, within the budget and up to a quality standard. This will involve engaging in the development of project plans, design and budget estimates, reviewing and approving technical construction designs, and tracking and managing project expenditures.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineering (PE) license, and a minimum of 5 years experience in infrastructure design, management, and oversight of related procurement and services. Experience on USAID or other donor-funded infrastructure projects is preferred. Strong understanding of USAID standards and regulations for construction is essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100k to $130k per annum, based on market data, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, 401K plan eligibility, and paid holidays. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, design and budget estimates
  • Review and approve technical construction designs
  • Track and manage project expenditures
  • Lead coordination with other USAID bureaus/offices and other USG, United Nations (UN), and/or multilateral agencies/donors
  • Manage project risks and issues
  • Ensure all projects follow standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines
  • Develop and deliver infrastructure guidance materials
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and establish project goals, objectives, and timelines
  • Provide leadership and direction to project team members and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, essential
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license, essential
