About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial and Administrative Officer to lead the Savannah Campus of Augusta University. This is a key leadership position that will be responsible for all administrative and business functions of the campus, serving as the Campus Dean's advisor on all matters related to financial and administrative affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire financial operations for the Savannah Campus, maximizing resources through sound financial management practices.
  • Develop and implement annual budgets and internal budgetary allocations for the Savannah Campus.
  • Approve all expenditures/transactions and monthly reconciliation for all Savannah campus accounts.
  • Oversee external funding grants, agency accounts, and endowed accounts.
  • Analyze and evaluate financial implications for new programs and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to student organization leaders.
  • Provide advice and counsel to Senior Leadership Team, faculty, and staff.
  • Manage human resource functions and personnel matters, including recruitment, payroll, performance management, and annual salary administration for Savannah Campus.
  • Facilitate recruiting and hiring of faculty and staff and provide oversight in defining positions and preparing job descriptions.
  • Manage facilities, classrooms, and equipment, including setup, maintenance, security, access, and communications.
  • Work with Campus Dean to establish and implement the Savannah campus's strategy and direction.
  • Oversee and administer any financial or operational special projects.
Requirements
  • Masters degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial and administrative management positions with increasing responsibilities.
  • Preference given to individuals who have experience in higher education.
  • Supervisory experience desired.
