Job Overview

DORN Companies is a leading provider of industrial injury prevention and ergonomics services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs to reduce employee injuries and pain
  • Conduct workstation assessments and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Provide training and coaching on body mechanics, self-care techniques, and deep tissue therapy
  • Collaborate with onsite management and safety personnel to identify and address safety concerns
  • Develop and conduct pre-shift and post-lunch conditioning exercises based on the Instinctive Movement System
  • Utilize deep tissue techniques for wellness-focused pain relief

Requirements:

  • Valid license or certification in a relevant field (e.g. massage therapy, athletic training, physical therapy)
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and/or industrial ergonomics
  • Education and experience in movement or exercise science, kinesiology, or sports training/coaching
  • Strong observation and report writing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient technical skills, including basic computer skills and documentation
