The Cashier's primary responsibility is to provide exceptional guest service. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests by providing detailed information about menu offerings and the Golden Corral line ordering system.
  • Ensure that line products are always available and easily accessible to guests.
  • Handle payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of cash handling integrity.
  • Process to-go orders and assist guests at the Buffet by the Pound station with a smile.
  • Communicate effectively with guests over the phone, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Offer assistance to guests who may need help, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Follow the Five Steps of Line Service to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Open and close the line area efficiently and quickly, maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Bring equipment problems to the attention of the Manager, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Communicate cash levels in the drawer to the Manager to reduce cash in drawer for liability purposes.
  • Assist with the buffet and Server area, as directed by the Crew Leader, Assistant Manager, or Manager.
  • Perform duty roster and Cleanliness, Service, and Quality (CSQ) responsibilities, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure that smallwares are always clean, dry, and available for guests.
  • Follow local health department laws and regulations, maintaining a high level of food safety and quality.
