Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, dining room preparation, and meal service in a senior care setting. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service and ensuring the well-being of residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation, including food handling and sanitation procedures
• Prepare dining rooms for meal service, including setting tables and ensuring adequate supplies
• Deliver meals to residents, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and dining areas
• Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
