Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at The Portland Clinic. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

• Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies.
• Prepare and maintain surgical trays, instruments, and equipment, adhering to strict aseptic techniques.
• Participate in the maintenance and cleaning of operating rooms, equipment, and furniture, following established procedures.
• Collaborate with the Sterile Processing department to ensure the proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments and supplies.
• Assist with emergency procedures and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a Scrub Technician training program and certification through a recognized authority.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous Surgical Tech experience preferred.
