Career Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit as a Surgical Nurse Specialist - Post Operative Care. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

As a Surgical Nurse Specialist, you will collaborate with medical providers to provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes. You will serve as an advocate for patients, supporting their physical, emotional, and educational needs throughout their care journey.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients, supporting their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • An American Heart Association BLS Certification.
