This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the defense acquisition process. As a Senior Acquisition Specialist, you will provide acquisition and program life cycle support to a U.S. Navy client. You will coordinate with requirements teams, the contracting officer representative (COR), and contracting staff to assist with the development of acquisition strategies and planning. You will support market research, development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), contract modifications, and technical instructions. You will assist with monitoring and reporting contract performance, including tracking contract obligations, invoices, award fees and incentives, and deliveries. You will provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project's success.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with DoD acquisition management
- Experience working with senior government staff at the program executive officer or project manager level
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the U.S. Navy
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Experience with DOD Acquisition Pathways
- Experience with contract writing systems, including SPS
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with limited supervision and be a self-starter
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- CFCM or DAWIA CON Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD).
