Automotive Porter

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Porter to join our team at Ted Britt Auto Group.

Estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Overview

The Automotive Porter will be responsible for verifying the receipt of new vehicles, inspecting them for damage, and maintaining vehicle inventory in proper parking areas. They will also assist sales consultants with the transport of vehicles for prospective buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Park vehicles in assigned areas to maintain an organized inventory.
• Catalog and store keys to prevent loss or misplacement.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by moving sold vehicles to maximize space.
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department in a timely manner.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. You should also be able to write simple correspondence and perform basic mathematical operations such as addition and subtraction. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
