Our ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital engagement strategies to reach and engage audiences and raise visibility of our work. This includes creating and executing best-in-class email marketing programs, managing social media channels, and developing engaging digital and multimedia content.

Job Summary

The Director, Digital Engagement will lead our digital outreach efforts and oversee our online presence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a best-in-class email marketing program to drive engagement, conversions, and retention.
  • Collecting and leveraging analytics to optimize email performance, content strategies, segmentation, personalization, and automation.
  • Overseeing the email marketing platform and associated vendors.
  • Developing and implementing the organization's social media strategy, including content creation, community management, and engagement tactics.
  • Ensuring alignment with brand voice, tone, and design guidelines.

The selected candidate will have a strong track record of success in leading and optimizing email marketing and social media campaigns. They will also possess exceptional leadership and project management skills, as well as a strong understanding of web analytics, SEO, and UX principles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or public relations or a related field and 5-7 years of progressively responsible communications experience in digital engagement strategies.
  • Or high school diploma and 10+ years of progressively responsible communications experience in digital engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and optimizing email marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools (e.g., email platforms, analytics, social media management tools).
