Agricultural Laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Laborer to join our team at NJ Employer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farm maintenance, crop care, and nursery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Summer prune trees and harvest apples
• Perform orchard maintenance, trimming trees, and bin repair
• Hand thinning and planting trees
• Picking up roots & rocks
• Operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers and equipment

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing weather conditions
• Basic understanding of English or Spanish
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Valid driver's license (for those required to drive)

Working Conditions:

Workers are expected to work the number of days and hours specified. Depending on weather, crop, or other conditions, workers may be requested to work up to seven days per week and/or on the Sabbath and will be paid overtime accordingly.

Employer Provided:

The employer will furnish workers, without cost, all the tools and equipment required in the performance of the duties assigned.

Important Notes:

Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments.

Once the applicant has a copy of the job contract, they may call and/or email the employer to schedule an interview Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm.
