Pediatrician Leader

We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our Primary Care Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the advancement of pediatric medicine.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in pediatrics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to evaluate, treat, and manage patients, provide support to colleagues and patients, and collaborate with office administration and nursing staff.

• Evaluate, treat, and manage patients, documenting medical findings in electronic medical records.
• Provide direct patient care, review current pediatric standards of care, and work with leadership to implement new processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation, provide evenings and Saturdays coverage, and round at community hospitals to see newborns.
• Diagnose and treat various conditions, counsel on vaccines, and order labs and testing as appropriate.

• Doctorate in Medicine from Medical School and Pediatric Residency Program.
• Management or supervisory experience in an ambulatory care academic setting or medical office setting.
• Some experience with fiscal management and human resource management.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations, computer systems, initiative, judgment, problem solving, and decision making.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
