Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Care for the health and well-being of animals used in research and development studies.
  • Perform duties related to the maintenance of experimental animals, including feeding, cleaning cages, and maintaining inventory and animal identification records.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of animal facilities and equipment.
  • Participate in biosafety and biosecurity protocols to ensure the safety of animals and personnel.
  • Collaborate with pre-clinical investigators and veterinarians to support animal studies.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in animal care or research laboratory settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with 40 hours per week. The work environment is a research laboratory setting with a focus on animal care and maintenance.
